This past weekend saw the SuperHatchers embark on their annual fun, charity fishing weekend, the weekend is self-explanatory with a small twist of course.
Each year we choose a charity and whatever their needs may be, we do collections on that basis, we then choose a venue for us to go fishing nearby and we have lots of fun as a family (our SuperHatch family), we do some fishing and have a great weekend together.
With fun prizes for the most fish, biggest fish etc, but the weekend always ends with a twist, with us then supporting our chosen charity.
This year we went fishing at a place called Mar Leo in Pta North, and ensured the locals got some much needed rain. And we got a little cold and super wet.
Then Sunday morning, once all was said and done, we headed to the children’s home Jakaranda, just 5 minutes from the dam. And we dropped off, a personalised gift/pack per child compliments of Louis Scholtz and Car Care Clinic.
And with the SuperHatch members, friends and families collections of soft toys, blankets (enough for more than just the one house we visited at the centre) food, sweets, cooldrinks, toys, etc.
Thank You to Everyone who contributed, SuperHatch has shown yet again that their hearts are Bigger than their mouths. And thanks to all their friends who also contributed.
Next round is Zwartkops 21 May.
Thank You for all your Support.
