Cars in the Park – 2013

SuperHatch was in full force as always at the annual Cars in the Park show held at Zwartkops on Sunday the 4th of August. With an organsing committee made up of SuperHatch members and friends, as always the show was about the great spirit that is SuperHatch.

Chris ‘Custard’ headed up the committee and is almost a male version of me.. a bit of a Hitler…. (but not as nice as me of course)

He had great help from Jaco K, Shaun B, Hilton and Kayla (Hilt’s Chellie), and Nic.

Brett brought along Jonnesway who had a tool display on our stand.

We had the next event that we are racing at being well promoted by both flyers, surveys and handing out sweeties and great kiddies novelties courtesy of the ever generous Willem from A.S.A.P Parts.

We had a braai courtesy of Ducky and the meat on it courtesy of Mark. We handed out some of the wors as treats to and generally all climbed in and fed our faces.

As a whole a great event, I’m not sure I have ever seen such a well attended Cars in the Park – we will still get the final figures but on guess work I think it is safe to say that approx 8 000 people saw the SuperHatch stand.

However this coming weekend the fun and friendships take a back seat until after the days racing where everyone wants to win and beat the next guy or girl. Join us at Zwartkops this coming Friday as we head to Zwartkops for the Extreme Festival and Inland championships which will run over both days, but for our great racing action, get there Friday.
