Phakisa 200 is next for SuperHatch competitors

The Phakisa 200, which will see the SuperHatch competitors tackle 53 laps of the Free State circuit, is the third round of the 2023 championship. The event takes place on Saturday, 27 May.

In the absence of Christiaan van Wyk (Mechanical Masters Ford Figo) and Karel Stols (Pretoria Noord Toyota Etios, Francis Aldrich (Opel Corsa) will be aiming to build a buffer at the top of the overall championship table. His competition in Class A will come from Dhiren Ganasen in the TransAfrica Racing Honda Civic.  

In Class B, Andre de Lange (Roofsure VW Golf) will be joined by Ishmael Baloyi (Trans Africa Racing Honda Civic) and George Aldrich (Peugeot 206).

As usual, Friday will be dedicated to practice sessions with qualifying scheduled for 07h50 on Saturday morning. An 8-lap sprint race is scheduled for 11h20 with the main event at 15h00.
