The annual Phakisa 200 draws a lot of interest and plenty comrade, it is combined with the Speed & Sound 111 Sports & Saloons, and SuperHatch had a great entry this year with 17 SuperHatch cars and 26 SuperHatch members.
The weekend is all about fun, and there were the usual camp fires, tents, and fun all round, from Thursday right through to Sunday.

But next up was the one that mattered the 200km race, where qualifying merely means a good or bad spot in the mix of the 48 cars that qualified…
It is such a busy race from the start with so many cars and a rolling start which sets the pace, that one can never cover all the events… there was only one safety car period in the entire race which was for a stricken vehicle and then we were racing again.
